The Good Trade gathers purpose-driven and sustainable brands and NGOs under one awesome platform in the Philippines so that individuals can create positive social impact without fuss.  They seek to connect, inspire and empower a community to live a lifestyle with simplicity and honesty at its core.

It's a privilege to work with a brand that shows a lot of potential from the get-go, and being involved during the brand's humble beginnings and seeing it grow over time is a joy to behold -- The Good Trade is one of those projects for us.

Though the local community has become increasingly more aware and curious about sustainable living, we identified a few potential gaps in the market that The Good Trade could fill in: a brand with a friendly and unintimidating image, a consistent and coherent visual identity, and a provision of varied avenues for interaction for a wide range of brands and partners.

The target brand image was fun, friendly, inspiring, and empowering, and we came up with a visual translation that would make use of light earth tones and pastels, handwritten and bespoke elements, with nature inspired illustrations and doodles; we decided on a more handmade, folk-inspired look.

The logo represents a hand with an olive branch "tattoo," alluding to the helping hand that The Good Trade offers to help you discover more about the sustainable and conscious lifestyle. The cutout style and handwritten type strengthens the approachable nature of the brand image, and is unique and recognizable enough for quick brand recall.

We worked on secondary graphic elements that the brand could use for their social media marketing materials, and also worked on several of their online collaterals for the fairs. This one above is for the Lawn Party that they organized at SM Aura in 2018.

The Good Trade also launched a series of gift sets available for online purchase during the start of 2019, and we were involved with the photography and styling of each set. The styling and treatment keeps in theme with the natural and muted aesthetic of the brand.

Our team was also in charge of the backdrop and photobooth styling for the first few runs of The Good Trade fairs at Central Square in BGC. It was a chance to translate the brand image into something tangible, and we were able to explore different ways in styling sustainably -- making use of as many items and materials as possible that The Good Trade could reuse over and over.

Another opportunity to create a more tangible space for the brand came about when we designed The Good Trade's Pop-Up Store at The Grove by Rockwell.
