This project was a collaboration with visual artist and muralist Kris Abrigo.
The client, Davies Paints, Inc., is an exhibitor at Worldbex, an annual building and construction expo in the Philippines. They wanted to showcase their products without resorting to the usual "hard-sell" approach. We proposed an interactive installation where the entire booth serves as not just a product display, but also as an experiential space and art piece for the public. Each house's interior was painted in a different color scheme, following Davies' Paints trend themes for that year. The houses' exterior walls and floors were also painted to showcase the client's different paint product lines. Constructing the houses as separate structures allowed for design flexibility should the client wish to reuse the pieces at different expos where the allotted space could be different in size and/or shape.
The design won the Best Small Scale Booth Award for Worldbex 2018.
