A project can greatly from the client’s unique sensibilities as long as a specific design direction can be identified. Though it may take time to flesh out the details and get to the core of what they really want, the process helps ultimately rewards in its results and helps make everything else easily fall into place.
This 38sqm studio fit-out appealed a lot to GRAAR’s love for experimentation and off-kilter ideas. What resulted is an eclectic mix between old and new, creating a home that is not only functional and comfortable, but also truly represents its owner. An interesting mix of colors and textures were used in the space – polished concrete floor, a distressed brick wall, and vivid pops of color for the walls and additional built-ins. The furniture and accessories were also carefully handpicked and curated with great care, mixing antique heirloom pieces with custom-built items by local makers.
