Recolor is a non-profit initiative to revitalize urban spaces for the benefit of the community. Organized by an enthusiastic group of architecture students, they needed help with the design and execution of their first project. They reached out to Kris Abrigo, who invited us to collaborate with him in making this vision come to life.
Situated in a small alley along Yuchengco St., the idea was to make the experience better for the numerous people who use the passage regularly, by improving their visual experience through Kris' murals. Wood installations to be mounted along the wall also added a tactile experience to the outdoor mural installation.
This project was featured in a walking tour of Escolta and Binondo in the 2019 Escolta Block Festival.
