Sunny House

Sunny House is a three-bedroom residence to be used as a family home. The design for this project was an exercise in balancing the homeowner’s request for privacy and bringing natural light into the house.

Code setback requirements were respected on all sides of the lot for this project. Though it made the building footprint smaller, it allowed for more outdoor space, and openings on all sides to get sunlight in. This also maximized the opportunities to create gardening spaces for the homeowner.

This project went into development in late 2017 but unfortunately did not push through.
