This 2-bedroom condo was designed for a married couple of two who were expecting their first kid around the same time that they wanted to move in. Their requirements were simple and straight to the point – clean, minimalist in aesthetic, but maximalist in terms of storage options without making the space feel small or cramped, especially for their large collection of books and kitchen items.
A few extra centimeters of space can make all the difference, and this project was a great opportunity to explore the advantages of modular furniture and custom built-ins. Storage solutions came in the form of built-in cabinets that were fit exactly to the measurements of each area and their previously purchased furniture. Colors were used sparingly to camouflage larger storage built-ins as part of the space.
